About
the Book
So you announced your engagement. Now you're wondering, 'how do
we get from here to the altar? What needs to be done first? What
are we forgetting? What is the correct way to do everything? How
can we make our day unique?'. The Complete Wedding Handbook has
the answers to all your questions.
An indispensable guide for both the bride and the groom, it contains
absolutely everything you need to know about preparing and planning
your big day down to the most minute detail, and leads you through
the ceremony and reception with style and confidence. The Complete
Wedding Handbook is also a workbook with tables and text boxes
for you to complete and comprehensive checklists to help you keep
track of your plans at every stage.
The most unique thing about this handbook is that it deals with
minimising the inevitable stress that goes hand-in-hand with planning
a wedding. David encourages couples to work together to create
a day that they both will enjoy. 'Remember marriage is a partnership
- and so is organising your wedding'.
Ultimately the handbook will give you a greater sense of control
and empowerment over planning your entire wedding from beginning
to end.
About
the Author
David Holmsen was first inspired to write this book when he was
unable to find a useful self-help reference to help him organise
his own wedding. An Australian teacher and private wedding consultant
currently living and working in London, he has drawn on his extensive
experience to produce this book.

My sister received the book I ordered from you last week and is
thrilled
with it. She commented that she was initially skeptical that it
would be
"all lace and girly schmaltz" but she and her fiancé
honestly feel that a
weight has been taken off their minds having the book as a guide.
